Pale Pink Cotton Kota Doria Saree, Jaal | Naazneen

A tonal white floral jaal covers a pale baby-pink Kota Doria cotton.

Why this piece

•
Light and semi-sheer — the open cotton weave stays cool and near-weightless; wear it over a petticoat with a fitted blouse for full cover.

•
Soft white-on-pink jaal — a medium white floral repeats all over the pale pink, with a thin metallic band at the edges.

•
Comfortable through it all — stays comfortable through every ritual, meal and photo.

The pattern

A medium white floral repeats as an all-over jaal across the pale baby-pink body, on a sheer grid-textured ground, with a simple thin metallic band along the edges. The white softens the pink rather than contrasting it.

The fabric

Kota Doria is a cotton khat weave of tiny square checks you can see against the light. It is semi-sheer by nature, which keeps it light through a long day of rituals and photos.

Is this Kota Doria all cotton?
Yes — cotton in the open khat (square-check) weave. That open weave is what keeps this pale pink piece light, semi-sheer and breathable.

What colour is the floral jaal?
It is worked in white across the pale baby-pink body — a soft, tonal contrast rather than a bright one, with a thin metallic edge.

How sheer is it, and how should I pair it?
It is semi-sheer, as cotton Kota Doria is. Wear it over a petticoat with a fitted blouse; a pink or skin-tone petticoat keeps the ground even.

Does it come with a blouse piece, and how do I wash it?
Yes, a plain running blouse piece in the same Kota Doria is included, which you can get tailored to size. Handwash gently in cold water and dry in shade; the embroidery holds best with gentle care.
