This technique evolved during the time of weaving and it was originated and used in Asia. Later during the foreign invasions, the fabric which contained hand painting were traded with other goods and entered the foreign market. There is a rich history of fabric painting in Africa, Asia, and Europe as different cultures introduced new techniques to different areas. The designs include subtle images to bold pictures.
