A magenta pink covered edge to edge in tiny printed crosses.
- An all-over small cross motif on the top, with the dupatta ends given over to flowing floral scrolls.
- Colour-fast, so the off-white pattern holds against the magenta on the first wash.
- Fringed dupatta ends, finished as they come off the loom rather than trimmed later.
The cross motif
A small geometric cross repeats across the magenta pink at close intervals in off-white, fine enough to read as a texture from a distance. The dupatta breaks that rhythm with long rectangular borders of flowing floral scrolls at the ends, closed with fringe.
Styling
Bright pink asks for restraint everywhere else, so a straight kurta and a plain narrow pant serve it best. Keep the jewellery silver or pearl rather than gold, and let the scrolled dupatta ends fall in front so the border shows.
