Polka dots and loose florals fall in uneven blocks, not a flat repeat.
- An asymmetric layout, with dotted sections set against abstract floral ones instead of one repeating field.
- Colour-fast, so the off-white and muted pink stay clean against the deep ground.
- Opaque, so it stitches unlined, with a lining left as a way to elevate rather than a requirement.
The layout
Sections of small polka dots sit beside sections of abstract floral shapes in off-white and muted pink, placed asymmetrically over a deep metallic blue that reads almost charcoal in shadow. The dupatta is edged with a scrolling vine motif along its long sides.
Styling
The dark, cool ground makes this the most formal set in the group, at home in an office and at an evening dinner alike. A muted pink dupatta pin or piping pulls the accent colour forward, and silver rather than gold keeps the metallic depth of the blue intact.
