VARAMAHALAKSHMI FALLS HERE
Thursday is the last day to buy in time
Varamahalakshmi is Friday the 21st — our second day. So the 20th, opening day, is the last full day to pick something up before the puja.
Onam falls on the 26th and Raksha Bandhan on the 28th, both after we close on Sunday evening. If you're shopping for any of the three, this is the weekend.

Around 1,700 pieces. Handloom sarees and dress material, with a smaller run of lehengas and bags.
Silkmark-certified Tussar is the line we build the collection around — embroidery, cutwork, blockprint. Alongside it: Maheshwari, Chanderi, Kota Doria, mul cotton, silk linen, blockprinted cotton, Kalamkari.
78%
of what we're carrying is a single piece. When one goes, there isn't another in the back.
Handloom doesn't photograph
Weight, fall, and the way a weave takes light — none of it survives a photograph. That's the whole reason we do these four days instead of just listing things.
At the stall: free fall and pico on sarees, done on site or collected later. Both of us are on the floor all four days, and around 5pm if you'd like to hear where a piece came from.
Bought from the loom, not the market
Every piece comes directly from a weaver or an artisan cluster — Phulia and Ranaghat in West Bengal, Bhagalpur in Bihar, Maheshwar in Madhya Pradesh, Chanderi, and Kota.
The Tussar carries Silkmark, the Government of India mark for genuine silk. The tag is on the piece; ask to see it.
A single Tussar saree can take a weaver several weeks. Buying direct means more of what you pay reaches the person who made it.
