The Art of the Desert: Barmer Applique

This isn't just a curtain; it is a canvas of heritage. Hailing from the desert district of Barmer, Rajasthan, this piece features the traditional art of Applique (Katab). Women artisans painstakingly cut intricate botanical motifs from fabric and stitch them onto a premium cotton base. The result is a stunning textural interplay that adds depth and character to your room without overwhelming it with color.

Ethical & Authentic

Sourced directly from Women’s Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in Barmer, every purchase empowers rural artisans, providing them with financial independence and keeping this centuries-old needlework tradition alive.

The "White-on-White" Aesthetic

Designed for the modern home, this curtain embodies the "Scandi-Boho" look.

Texture over Print: Unlike flat printed fabrics, the raised applique work creates a beautiful play of shadow and light during the day.

Light Filtering: The high-quality cotton fabric offers privacy while allowing soft, diffused natural light to filter through, keeping your room airy and bright.

Versatile Styling

Window/Door Drapery: Perfect for living rooms or bedrooms that need a calming, serene vibe.

Room Divider: Use it to separate spaces in a studio apartment.

Wall Art: The intricate work makes it beautiful enough to hang as a tapestry behind a bed or sofa.
