The word Ajrakh comes from the Arabic word Azrak which means the colour Blue. Hence in the ajrakh printing the colour blue is used commonly. This printing is done by hand using the wooden carved blocks to print symmetrical patterns on the fabric.
The Hand block printing produces beautiful designs that reflect the Indian culture, and tradition. The craftsmen use uniquely crafted wooden boxes to print vast variety of designs on the textile.
