The print

The main body is left almost plain in deep blue. The pattern is held back for the dupatta and the sleeve pieces, where small white florals repeat densely and are closed off by decorative bands along the dupatta edges. It is a monochrome set that gets its interest from where the print is, rather than how much of it there is.

Styling

A near-plain deep blue kurta with printed sleeves is about as office-appropriate as ethnic wear gets, and the same set reads formal in the evening with silver. 1. Do I need a lining under this kurta?
No. The silk is opaque, so it needs no lining or aster. Many customers add one anyway, purely to give the kurta more body and a more formal fall.

2. Will the deep blue bleed onto the white florals?
No. The fabric is colour-fast and does not bleed on the first wash, so the white repeats stay clean against the blue.

3. What comes in the set, and can it be stitched for a larger size?
