Will the turquoise bleed into the maroon on the first wash?
No. The fabric is colour-fast and does not bleed on the first wash. Dry clean it the first time, then a gentle cold hand wash keeps both colours clean.
How should the geometric bands be used when stitching?
They work best as a finished border - most tailors place them at the kurta hem or on the sleeve edge rather than cutting through the pattern.
Does the fabric need a lining?
No. The silk is opaque and can be stitched as it is. A lining is optional if you want a heavier fall to the kurta.
What size can this be stitched to?
Up to 4XL for a straight kurta set. Each piece is 2.5 metres long, the top and bottom 44-45 inches wide, and the length can be customised for a longer silhouette.
What if the shade is not what I expected?
Screens vary, so a shade can look a little different in person. If the colour or the quality is not what you hoped for, you can exchange it.
