The geometric bands do not repeat with machine precision, and the butas sit a fraction unevenly. Both are the wooden block landing by hand.

A colour-blocked set means the blocks travel twice - once over the salmon length and again over the olive, with the pigments mixed to sit correctly on each ground. In Bhagalpur that judgement belongs to the printer, who knows how a colour will read once the silk has dried. Which colour should be the kurta and which the bottom?
Either way works. An olive kurta with a salmon pink bottom reads more formal, while a salmon kurta with an olive bottom is softer and better for daytime. The dupatta carries both, so it ties whichever you choose.

Will the two colours run into each other in the wash?
No. The fabric is colour-fast and does not bleed on the first wash. Dry clean it the first time, then wash gently in cold water.

Do the printed panels need special handling when stitching?
Only placement. The wide geometric panels are best kept whole and used as a hem or border rather than cut through the middle.

What if the shade is not what I expected?
