Mango Orange Cotton Kota Doria Saree, Floral | Gulbadan
A warm mango orange, light from morning to evening.
Direct from master artisan Haq Nawaz, Kota — hand-dyed to this orange.
All-over florals warm a mango-orange Kota Doria cotton, finished with a scalloped edge.
Why this piece
Light and semi-sheer — the open cotton weave stays cool and near-weightless; wear it over a petticoat with a fitted blouse for full cover.
A warm, wearable orange — mango-orange with white florals all over — bright without being loud.
Morning to evening — stays light from the commute to the evening chai.
The pattern
White florals repeat all over the mango-orange body, and the length is finished with a scalloped edge. The orange is warm and even, the florals keeping it from reading flat.
The fabric
Kota Doria is a cotton khat weave of tiny square checks you can see against the light. It is semi-sheer by nature, which keeps it cool for summer and all-day wear.

Is this Kota Doria all cotton?
Yes — cotton in the open khat (square-check) weave. That open weave is what keeps this orange piece light, semi-sheer and breathable.
What shade of orange is it?
A warm mango orange — an even ground with white florals all over, bright without being loud.
How sheer is it, and how should I pair it?
It is semi-sheer, as cotton Kota Doria is. Wear it over a petticoat with a fitted blouse; a orange or skin-tone petticoat keeps the ground even.
Does it come with a blouse piece, and how do I wash it?
Yes, an unstitched blouse piece is included. It is hand-dyed, so handwash gently in cold water and dry in shade; with gentle care the orange holds.
