Why this drape

The partitioned pallu — the end-piece is split into horizontal panels of floral, paisley and geometric bands, a richer finish than the fine body print.

The print

Small paisley and floral motifs cover the dark-maroon ground, warmed by pink, cream and tan, then open into the partitioned pallu. Printed on one route through a specialist converter, the maroon keeps its depth and the panels repeat cleanly piece to piece.

The drape

Light at 425 g and fluid in the hand, it pleats easily and carries through a long function without weight. Deep maroon with a soft pink lift is a natural daytime-celebration choice that also works for office wear.

Before first wear

The saree comes unstitched, the form that keeps it exchange-eligible, so you can check the shade first. Then have the fall and pico done and cut the blouse from the attached 80 cm piece.
