*This Saree is woven on a loom in weaving town of Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh. The Mercer Silk is a technique or textile finishing for cotton to improve the uptake of dye, and tear strength. It also greatly reduces the fabric shrinkage, and enhance the quality of the fabric by giving it a silk-like luster.

* Patola print is the king among Indian Ikats. It is a double ikat silk, and are naturally dyed. In India these Patoal Sarees were used as ceremonial sarees and traditionally often worn by the groom's mother which was gifted as wedding present.
